The Owls 1

The Owls 1 consists of local talented athletes, many of whom are current, former and future GB national team players. Head Coach Dan Johnson is a highly respected GB Paralympian, who along with our 2nd Team Head Coach Garry Peel, won a Silver Medal at the 1996 Paralympic Games. Currently, the team are ranked No.1 in Britain and 15th in Europe by the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation.

Each year the team strives to maintain national dominance whilst also representing British wheelchair basketball on the European stage.
